Auf Wiedersehen?

I have a feeling this blog is in its death throes...

This happens once a year, so perhaps that will change, but as of late I've not been doing much as far writing. In fact, not much in any part of my life. The column at my old job kept this thing going, and 3 years is a fairly impressive run for a blog, if the stories about blogging are anywhere near correct.

I think I'm just too agitated right now, as I find myself living with one of the most dramatic persons to have ever been a part of my circle of friends. How quickly that resolves itself is yet to be seen.

To end on a happier note, I need to get myself in my get-up for the first opera attendance of my life. It's Porgie and Bess. All I know is that it's in English and isn't a comedy.

Perhaps I will need some Reno 911: Miami afterwards.

Settling in at the New Job

Day 4 of the new job, and things seem to be going quite well. I'm sort of in standby mode as a manager as I'm seeing what the copy desk is doing now, and what isn't working out for the other editors.

Plus, I won't jump in and look like as ass, which I'm trying not to do.

But, in other news, I finally posted some pictures from my second San Francisco trip, and some Montreal pictures that I pulled from the vaults. The Montreal trip wasn't by best at all, and I suppose that played into the pics never going up. So check out my Travels page for more of what you can probably find everywhere else.

And a very shocking (for the crazy people, you know who you are) new clip. CNN, among it's top stories, is taking the Dems to task for breaking their promise of longer work weeks.

Who'd have thunk the liberally biased CNN would take a jab at the Dems? I thought that was only the purpose of the recently outed as unfair and unbalanced Fox News?

New Beginnings

New job, Day One: Orientation, now that I'm up, but exhausted. Luckily, I ironed my shirt and pants last night. I shaved last night, too. I should have slept more last night, though.

Where has Brian Been?

He's been everywhere. From the city that was the birth of the United States, to the most liberal city in the United States, back through to where the Duke rape case unfolded, down to where Gen. Sherman burned a city to the ground, and Coca-Cola got it's start, and I'll be back in the city where the U.S. got started by tomorrow afternoon.

I've been holding on posting because my I didn't bring my camera attachment (I'm so brilliant), so I've got pics just sitting on my camera ready to be seen!

When I return I'll be starting my new job, so this very needed, very relaxing and very rejuvenating trip should do wonders!
